modeled on the 2" tape box format, it's square on the outside but round n' nice inside cos not only is it the perfect, ol'skool way of lovingly transporting your new, best favourite 1's and 0 bitz n trax straight to iTunes for sharing your innermost personal and at times often embarrassing secret music tastes with Apple (which Thingamejig will happily tolerate), but it makes one fine drink coaster with which you'll be able to show off your pre-holocaust, musical treasures of yesteryear to your grand-kids when they pop round for tea...ahhh, "they don't make music like that anymore..."

Enjoy the high definition, 24bit version of Mine The Stars, Traul The Sea straight from the control room with full dynamics and beautiful RSS stereo treatments including loops and sounds that appear to spin around your head in 3D.
This is achieved with standard stereo speakers and was created using Roland's patented RSS sound placement system I'm the proud owner of!
This mix WILL be quieter than the CD/iTunes release version as it's not squashed to death to try to win the silly volume awards so TURN IT UP and enjoy the incredible dynamics and resolution that a mix designed for pure listening pleasure can bring...
lyrics
oh
i’d given up all hope at all..
I was
just not sane
i'm not just say’n it to make you feel small
can’t bare to see you
fall down on your
knees cos something’s
wrong with me
so
they may
say oh that
time heals
all but i'm
just not sure i'm
just not sure
just not sure they’ve ever felt this sore
we
all know who they cos they're
far too short to fall so far...
so
mine the stars and
traul the seas...

Recorded in the U.S in a rehearsal room in Washington DC. The long string sections pay homage to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Ride, LUSH and my other fave shoegazer bands from the 90's, The drums were put on to Nagra reel to reel tape so the pitch and speed could be manipulated coz I 'm a tape-stretch junkie
Hopscotching from jangle pop and post-hardcore to math rock and shoegaze, these Minnesota rockers have a gift for musical multitasking. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 29, 2024
