modeled on the 2" tape box format, it's square on the outside but round n' nice inside cos not only is it the perfect, ol'skool way of lovingly transporting your new, best favourite 1's and 0 bitz n trax straight to iTunes for sharing your innermost personal and at times often embarrassing secret music tastes with Apple (which Thingamejig will happily tolerate), but it makes one fine drink coaster with which you'll be able to show off your pre-holocaust, musical treasures of yesteryear to your grand-kids when they pop round for tea...ahhh, "they don't make music like that anymore..."

about

everything's about balance but why?

from Thingamejig, released July 1, 2014
the 5/8 timing comes from my fascination with master drummer Joe Morello whom I was very fortunate to know and spend time with...it's such a challenge to get inside of that it gets in your bones. once you're brainwashed, 4/4 sounds odd. The guitar was a nylon which I love to feel. The strings are so soft and playing repetitive bass melodies on them is nice.
